Refund policy

14-day cancellation right

If you are buying as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within
14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without giving a justification. You
then have a further 14 days to send the item back to us.

To cancel, email us at shop.cairnatlas@gmail.com with your order number. Please
contact us before sending anything back, so we can confirm the return address
and process your refund quickly.

Condition

To be refunded, the journal must be returned in the same condition you
received it - unused, unmarked, and in its original packaging. 

Return postage

Return postage is at your own cost, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or we
sent you the wrong item. We recommend obtaining proof of postage, as we cannot
refund items that do not reach us.

Refunds

We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned item, using your
original payment method. You will be notified by email once your return has
been received and inspected.

Our standard UK delivery is free, so no delivery charge is deducted from your
refund. If you chose the paid tracked upgrade, that upgrade charge is not
refunded.

Please note that your bank or card provider may take a further few days to
show the refund in your account.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Please inspect your order on arrival. If the journal is faulty, damaged in
transit, or is not what you ordered, contact us at shop.cairnatlas@gmail.com
with a photograph and we will put it right.

If you notify us within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund.
After 30 days. Return postage for faulty or incorrect items is at our expense. These rights are in addition to your 14-day cancellation right.

Exchanges

The quickest way to exchange an item is to return the original for a refund and
place a new order.
